For educators and programme leads

Teach entrepreneurship through practice, not slides

Your students learn the theory. Playground gives them the reps: real decisions, pitches and customer conversations in a safe space, with feedback they can act on.

Why practice works better than another lecture

Effectuation, customer discovery and pitching are reflexes, not facts. Students build them by doing, getting feedback and doing it again. Playground lets a whole group practise at the same time, in class or online, and gives every participant personal feedback.

    What you can use

    The Playground board game

A classroom game where teams make founder decisions together. Great for kick-offs and workshops.

    Nuances

Students sort real founder decisions into causal or effectual thinking and get instant feedback. Effectuation made tangible.

    Pitch Arena

Students pitch to an AI panel that adapts to their goal, pitch length and stage, and get an encouraging, critical debrief.

    Sales Roleplay

Practise customer interviews and sales conversations with an AI customer, with coaching on listening and asking better questions.

    Online Meeting Game

A facilitated networking game for online cohorts. Participants join with a code and receive a shared summary.

    Ways to use it

    1. 1

      One class session

60–90 minutes: play Nuances or the board game, then discuss what students noticed about their own thinking.

    2. 2

      Workshop series

A few sessions where students move from idea to pitch, practising each step with the games.

    3. 3

      Full programme or cohort

A tailor-made setup for your incubator, course or grant programme, with facilitation and peer learning.

    Common questions from educators

    Is it based on effectuation?

Yes. Nuances is built around causal and effectual reasoning, and the other games put the same principles into practice: start with what you have, take affordable steps and learn from surprises.
